  Cross-cultural consulting

We provide cross-cultural consulting with a view to elaborating a robust solution for your Chinese activities. The main difference between cross-cultural training/coaching and cross-cultural consulting is that the former involves the joint elaboration of guidelines and recommendations concerning a specific issue, whereas in the latter we work on your specific problem and find concrete solutions to it.

You should opt for cross-cultural consulting rather than cross-cultural training in the following cases:

  • If you are currently encountering problems with your Chinese venture
  • If your failure to meet your goals is attributable to a lack of cross-cultural competency
  • If you and/or members of your family need individualized consulting in connection with a posting to China
  • If you’d like complete and detailed answers to concerns about your Chinese activities, and would like to have at your disposal a clearly defined action plan that address the relevant core issues
  • If you’re slated to be a business delegation that is going to China
  Cross-cultural coaching


Cross-cultural coaching is a hands-on approach in which the coach and customer jointly elaborate a solution, based on the customer’s expertise in his field and the coach’s problem solving expertise.

Sino expert’s coaching cross-cultural coaching sessions will also enable you to integrate key intercultural dimensions into your everyday dealings with your Chinese partners.

Experience has shown that optimal benefit can be derived from a combination of cross-cultural training and coaching. We recommend that you take an intercultural training course and also do some intercultural coaching sessions, with a view to troubleshooting problems by elaborating solutions that address your specific issues.
